Daniel SiegelParticipantI have questions which began when I wanted to make a copy of a form including its records.
1. Can I do this? Somehow I did do this last year, but I can’t remember how and…
2. All of a sudden Tap Forms, which has been working perfectly for months, has begun to crash so often that I’m afraid to enter anything. It started when I duplicated a form. Then, all my hidden forms were revealed and when I check the hide form box, the form remains visible and/or Tap Forms crashes.
I’m using Tap Forms 3.02 on my MacBook Pro running Mavericks (10.95).Thoughts?

BrendanKeymasterHi Daniel,
1. There’s no function to duplicate a from including all the data. Just to duplicate the form template.
2. When you duplicate a form, Tap Forms switches to the “All Forms” list. Its’ not that all your hidden forms were suddenly unhidden. When you hide a form, it is only hidden from the My Forms list.
As for the crashing, I’ve had a couple other customers tell me lately about some crashes. The only common thing I can see is that they’re all using Mavericks. I haven’t been able to figure out why yet.

Daniel SiegelParticipantThanks for the reply, Brendan. I switched the view for my files and, as you said, the ones I don’t use disappeared again.
I wanted to try copying and pasting fields into a duplicated form, but I can’t do anything other than add an entry to an existing field whiteout Tap Forms crashing. I’m keeping backups and using them to keep my iPad version up to date (I made the mistake of activating the iCloud beta before I’m ready to upgrade to Yosemite). Would it make sense to delete my copy of Tap Forms and then download and reinstall it?January 7, 2015 at 1:40 AM #12578
BrendanKeymasterHi Daniel,
If you would like to try the beta of 3.0.3 for Mac to see if it fixes your crash problems, please email me your hardware UUID for your Mac. Email to support@tapforms.com.
I don’t know if deleting and re-installing will fix the issue you were having. But certainly if you try out the beta then that will help me to fix any issues you find with it before I release it to the world (which I am doing this week).
Thanks,
Brendan
