    Hello,
    I have created my own form in Tab Forms about two years ago, but haven’t used it recently. Now I got a new Mac, but realized that I forgot to create a backup of the database from my old computer. But I still have the *.tfx files.
    Is there a way, that I can figure out what fields I have used and recreate my form and reuse my data?

    Hi Gabi,

    The .tfx files are encrypted database files used for syncing. That’s also for the old version of Tap Forms (3.5.20 or earlier).

    If you still have those files in iCloud Drive, then you could try launching Tap Forms and enabling iCloud sync and see what happens. Tap Forms should re-build the database from those files. However, you would need to first enter in the encryption key if you had set one previously.
