I have been trying to switch to printing the table of records on my form, which previously worked OK, and it just displays the rotating beach ball. I waited over 20 minutes (by the stopwatch on my phone) with nothing happening.
None of the menus are accessible.
When I go to Force Quit it tells me that Tapforms is not responding.
I have tried this several times and used ‘force quit’ then restarted Tapforms. I tried using the ‘compact database’ from the Preferences menu, and while this did reduce the size of the database, it had no effect.
I had been trying to set up a ‘label’ print layout to print out some details and the image from the form, and had begun to get somewhere with this, then this started happening and I cannot get any further.
I am wondering if anyone can suggest my next course of action?
It would seem that posting here was the best course of action – Having done so, the printing is now working correctly – a bit slow because of the number of records, but nothing like 20+ minutes.
I did nothing that I think could have affected this except ignore it.
Thanks for reading.
Hi Gabrielle,
How many records do you have to print?
An option might be to create a Saved Search to reduce the number of records that need to be printed, then switch the settings there. Then go back to your main form and
Thanks,

I wanted to ‘print’ to PDF the whole >2000 to create a document to send to a friend. (Now done.)
I will certainly remember this technique for future reference.
Thanks.
