pick list – architecture question

Hi,

I wonder if you can follow my thoughts on the following or if I´m missing something:

You define the type of Picklist in the general settings (popup, checkbox etc.)
Thus you cannot use the list multiple times using different layout / list-settings.

In my opinion the list settings should more be a definition at each frontend item.

Hi Andreas,

I agree that it should be more flexible in that sense.

You can connect the same Pick List to multiple fields, but then yes, each field you connect it to has the same properties as all the others.

Thanks for the feedback.

I’ll consider changing it for a future version. In reality the properties of the Pick List such as the “Display As” property should be available on the individual locations where it’s being used.
