Out of sync

    Brendan,

    I’ve noticed the the total of records per form is different on my devices, and sometimes iCloud syncing doesn’t seem to be working. Probably that is the reason why the devices are out of sync.

    In the version 3-4 there was a way to reset iCloud to take care of this. How do I reset in version 5?

    Just delete the file on the devices and start over? That way I’m going to miss some data.

    Hi Leo,

    Are you using the beta builds?

    This is what you can do to reset iCloud sync in Tap Forms 5:

    1. Click the Disable iCloud Sync button on each device.
    2. Click the Delete from iCloud button on one device.
    3. Re-enable iCloud sync on the one device that has all the records.
    4. Wait for that device to fully upload to iCloud.
    5. Close that document.
    6. Re-open that document.
    7. Sync might start again. Wait for it to finish.
    8. Close that document again.
    9. Use the Send Document function to send that document to your other devices.
    10. Everything should be the same now.

    I’m using regular build right now. Testing beta on a separate device whenever I have time.

    Thanks, My guys was the same except for the close and re-open the document.

    Give this a try this weekend.
