    Perhaps I’ve missed it but is there a way to make a number field be formatted as a credit card number?

    XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

    This would sure simplify entry of credit card numbers. Thanks.

    Hi Gary,

    I’m sorry but I don’t have a credit card number formatter. Sorry.

    But I’ll think about adding one if there is a demand for it in the future.

    Thank you Brendan. Alternatively, perhaps you could develop a way to let the users define their own formats. I’ve used other software with such features and it often helps quite a bit to ensure that data is entered correctly…especially so if one intends to interface it to other apps.

    Hi Gary,

    Yes that would be great. Having a way to edit a format string would be ideal, with perhaps some common patterns available in a selection list.
