Hello,
The multi-criteria search is powerful and well thought out, however, there is one very important thing missing that would make it perfect.
Instead of having only one operator “ALL” or “ANY”, it would be very useful to allow the addition of batches of criteria which each use their own operator.
For instance :
ANY for
field 1 that contains…
field 2 that not contains…
+
ALL
field 3 is not empty…
field 4 is empty…
Could this be implemented?
Thank you
You can actually do this on the Mac version. It’s a bit hidden though.
When you see the saved search editor appear, hold the option key down and you’ll see the + button change to a … button. Click on that and that’ll add a new section. So now you can do things like Any and All, which translate to OR and AND in database queries. The editing of this feature does not work on iOS though. But the iOS version will execute the searches. There’s just no way to edit them. But you can on the Mac.
