I would like to comment on the use of Location database. Perhaps I’m missing some stuff.
I had created a database with the 2 fields involved.
1) Location – Text
2) Maps – Location
Question is regarding the location field. When I pinpoint the location on google maps, it will present to me the coordinates as well as the street name and any postal code. More often than not, the street name is wrong. I see the blue circle with the right arrow, and when I click on it, it leads me to another window Location with an option for me to fill in my text. I’m assuming this text will replace the default text by google maps.
However, after keying in the text, what I see in the record is still the default street by google maps and not the amended one. Am I missing something or there’s a bug somewhere.
