Limitation on Size of Pick List?

I have a client who’s considering having me write a DB front end for him to use on the iPad. He has two pick lists in the design, each of which can have up to 200 items. Is that much data going to be OK to put into a pick list in TapForms?

I just did a test with 779 items in a pick list and it worked just fine.

Hey,

You’re very welcome. Just FYI, to get the pick list in there, I copied a bunch of city names into the clipboard on my Mac, created an email and pasted the contents of the clipboard into the email. Then emailed it to my address on my iPhone. From the iPhone, I copied the text to the clipboard, then went to Tap Forms and created a new list. Then went to the ‘Add values…’ screen and pasted the clipboard there. Tap Forms parsed the text and created the pick list items. It took a few seconds to parse and save the pick list items. But after that, using the pick list was very fast.
