Antonio VolponParticipantI’m creating an herbarium where for each plant a total of 6 pictures can be uploaded. These photos are in separate photo fields (photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, etc) as I want to print them in a sheet.
I’ve started creating it with the Mac.
The fact is that every time I sync the database with the iPhone the photos get somehow duplicated, in that – for example – in the photo1 field I find not only the photo1 but also some of the photos from photo2, photo3 or photo 4,5,6.
If I patiently deleted the non requested images, then the sync works and they are not duplicated again.
However, if I include some new records from the Mac, for these the photos continue to get duplicated.
I have the most recents version of both and I tried, of course, to restart both the Mac and iOS version several times. It’s already been some weeks I have this problem.
Many thanks,
Antonio
Edit: I use the sync via local network

Antonio VolponParticipantI noticed that among the 6 fields:
photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, photo 5, photo 6
all experience the duplication problem, but not “photo 2”.
I do not remember exactly, but it could be that photo 2 was created adding the field explicitly, while 3,4,5,6 could have been “duplicated” from field 2.
However, this won’t explain why photo 1 still experience the problem as it was the original one.
Thanks,
Antonio

BrendanKeymasterHi Antonio,
Sorry for this trouble. I am working on a new version of Tap Forms which will make image handling much better. But in this case, could it be that you’re adding images with the same name to different fields?
Thanks,
Brendan

Antonio VolponParticipantThanks Bredan,
I do not think so, they are dragged&dropped from photos and each one seems to have a different hash as their name.
Thanks,
Antonio
