I’ve tried everything and I can’t seem to get my photos to appear in my form on the iPhone. I end up with the file name displayed.
I can no longer use iCloud due to restrictions my corporation has put on our phones via custom profiles. They have disabled iCloud documents.
So…I’m back to using Dropbox. I have created a Form on my Mac. I have inputed a few records, with Photos. I now want to get this over to the iPhone. How do I do this?
I have exported from Mac to Dropbox. I then see the folder created, and a CSV file and all .JPGs in the -Photos folder. But when I import my photo field comes in as text. Stored in there is the file name of the .JPG. I’ve also tried manually downloading all the JPGs but Im going to have over 100 and that is just nuts.
What am I missing?
Hi Sigamy,
You could use an FTP program such as Cyberduck (http://www.cyberduck.ch) to copy all the photos into your Photos folder in Tap Forms. On the Mac you can find the photos in the ~/Library/Containers/com.tapforms.mac/Data/Documents/Photos folder.
Or you could use iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer) to copy the files into the same folder on your iPhone.
With either of those tools you can drag and drop a bunch of files at a time. Tap Forms will look for the photos in that folder based on the photo ID that you imported from the CSV file.
Thanks!
Brendan
