A handy feature would be to have a switch I the field options for text fields that would use the most recent entry for a field as the default when a new record is started. FWIW, I think some of the other apps use the term “clone”.

There’s a duplicate record function which will duplicate an entire record, then you can edit the record and change just what you need.

I was looking for something that copies only specific fields, rather than the whole record. As an example, if there are a dozen fields in a form, I might want to have only a couple of fields carry forward. This would be especially useful when a given form is being designed yo be used by several different people on their own iPads. Rather than having to individually set-up a new form for each individual, certain fields would have the correct defaults after they fill out the first form.
Any progress on this? I just asked basically the same question in a new post then ran across this.
