I don’t claim to be an expert on how IOS apps are supposed to do things, but it seems to me that Tap Forms is double dipping on one’s iCloud allowance by both storing its data in icloud AND storing its data on the device in a location that iCloud backup wants to backup. If you have several devices, this will cause triple dipping and quadruple dipping.
It seems to me that when you turn on icloud sync in tap forms, that the data should be moved on the device from the folder where it would be backed up, to one of the folders that is not backed up. Therefore, when you restore the device, it should only restore your data from icloud storage, and not icloud backup THEN icloud storage (which would be double dipping your bandwidth on restoration too).
