In the iPhone app I would like to search several fields simultaneously which doesn’t seem possible as far as I can tell. For example I have several fields populated with pick lists, such as Quick Glance, Summary, Job, Language, and I would like to type into the search field: has car, can swim, tall, formal experience, nanny – which are items in the pick lists of the fields. It lets me search in one field various items from the pick lists, but not across several fields. Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not possible?
Please advise.

You can do that by tapping on the magnifying glass button just to the left of the search field when viewing a list of records. You can add multiple fields to the search rules. The more fields you add, the fewer records you will get back in the search results.
