I am new to Tap Forms so I’m still learning a lot on how the program operates. I have created two data bases that I use. One is for tracking my health/medications/etc and the other for tracking things related to my hobby. Both databases have been set up to sync with iCloud. On my Health database the main record entry form will have a button on the lower right for all records and that button toggles between “Edit” and “Save”. My Health database, BTW, only has one form. The function is obvious and it works fine. My Hobby database currently has 3 forms for storing different data items. On all of the forms in this database there is no “Edit/Save” button on the bottom right corner of the forms. I have obviously done something different on my Health database that I have not done on my Hobby database but for the life of me I cannot see what the difference. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Phil,
Go to the Preferences / Settings window and click on the Show Edit/Save button
checkbox. That’ll toggle that function for you.
Thanks!
Brendan
Ah that makes sense. I figured there was a dialog box for it. I did not realize that the settings were a “per database” settings not a global setting. Good to know. Thanks much, that solves the issue.
