Following upgrade to High Sierra and iOS11, I can’t sync the Mac and iPhone over the ‘Nearby’ connection (worked prior to the upgrade). The error dialog says:
Synchronization has failed
Error syncing with [name]-iphone-6s-local., reason: An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.
Any ideas? I’ve rebooted the Mac and the iphone,
Thanks

Hi Peter,
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce this error on any of my devices. I do know a few other customers have had this problem. One customer had it but it went away. But others have not been able to get past this error when using Nearby sync.
Would you be able to look in the Console log application and type Tap Forms into the search field, then try to sync with Nearby and copy all the log messages you see to your clipboard and paste them into an email for me? Send it to support@tapforms.com. Maybe something in there will give a clue as to what the problem is.
Thanks,
Brendan
Thanks Brendan – email with log sent.

FYI, this issue is fixed for the next update.
