Is it possible to specify the directory where Tap Forms 5 databases will be stored? I know that I can create a hard link to the “Library” location, but if there is a better and supported answer I’d prefer to do that.

    Thanks!

Not at the moment, but it’s coming in the new version of Tap Forms I’m working on.

Thank you! Do we have an ETA for that? Even a wild guess will do! ;)

My wild guesses have been notoriously inaccurate. I originally planned on releasing it last spring sometime. Then the fall. Then before the end of last year. Now, who knows? It’s not that I’m going overboard with new features or anything like that. I even have someone helping me out with some coding on the sync system. It’s just that as new OS versions come out, that kinda puts a wrench in some of the code that I have so I have to figure out solutions to those problems and then some things here and there not working properly that I need to fix before releasing it.

I’ll definitely be reviving my mailing list to tell the world about it once it’s been approved by Apple for release and I’ll of course post here. I also have a new website look and feel that’s going along with it. So you’ll know when it’s released.

    So sorry for the delay.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

Maybe they are not inaccurate enough. I’m reminded of a guy–goes by the name, Musk, is is very notorious for launch dates. He seems to be doing okay. :-)

I appreciate your candour, Brendan. Your product is inevitably worth the wait! :)
