Found something strange while checking which items are chewing up the SSD space on my new Mac Mini M2. TapForms inside my Applications folder states that it’s taking up around 65MBs. When checking how much space my TapForms app is taking up via the About This Mac “Storage” area, it says it’s about 20GBs.
I’m assuming the second reading is tallying up all data related to TapForms. ??
Thanks, Dale.
Hi Dale,
65 MB is about right for the Tap Forms app itself. Although on my Mac it’s using about 60 MB. Not sure why the difference.
As for the 20 GB, that’s a lot. Do you have a lot of backups? That could be using a lot of space too.
You can find the database document files for Tap Forms 5 here:
~/Library/Containers/com.tapzapp.tapforms-mac/Data/Documents
To get there:
1. Copy the above path.
2. In the Finder, press command-shift-g or click on the Go menu and select Go to Folder…
3. Paste the above path into the field.
4. Press the Go button.
Thanks for the quick reply, Brendan. Yep, 31 backups. A lot of them were over 500MBs.
Time to clean house. :)
Thanks, Dale.
