Apologies if this is a redundant post–I looked for similar comments and found none.
When I search for records in a form using
“Pick List”>Contains>”Pick List Selection”
criteria as the ONLY search criteria, the records returned are duplicated (each record appears twice).
If I used a combination of
“Pick List”>Contains>”Pick List Selection” and
“Another Pick List”>Contains>”Another Pick List Selection”
the returned records are not duplicated. Same with “Pick List” and “Text” as search criteria.
Interestingly, if I select this as the only search criteria:
“Pick List”>Does Not Contain>”Pick List Selection”
there is no duplication.
I experimented to see if the duplication occurs using other field types. It seems to happen only with a lone “Pick List”>Contains search term.
Hi 1Levite,
Can you try running the Rebuild Search Index command on the Database Maintenance Screen to see if that fixes the problem?
Thanks,
Brendan
Rebuilding the search index solved the duplicate search record issue. Should have thought of that before posting.
Thanks
Excellent. I’m glad that worked for you.
Thanks!
Brendan
