I noticed on a previous forum entry regarding the ‘Required Field’ option and that it only works if the EDIT/SAVE button has been enabled. (Wasn’t sure if I needed to add to the ‘old’ forum entry as it was 2020, or start a new one?)
I enabled the SAVE/EDIT option. The required field still shows up with a red outline around the box but if I exit the form without filling it in, it still allows me to do so without any warning errors. Is there something else I need to do?
When the EDIT/SAVE button is enabled am I correct that ANY edits/additions to records must use the
EDIT/SAVE button to make the changes?

Hi John,
That’s the behaviour right now. Pressing the Save button will then let you know which fields need to be filled in if they’re marked as required. It’s required that you click the Edit button to put the record into edit mode.

I think a good behaviour Toggle could be to “not save records” until the required items were added.
(I understand this could add to complication , that’s why I said toggle)
