This trap me for almost two months.

I export one form with UTF-16 encoding and record ID enabled.
After updated on Windows Excel, and importing back to iPhone TF.

Record counts of that form became double. And all what I see on view turns blank.
I restore the TF from backup data, repeat the operation, I got the same result.

    Today, I did one test.
    1. Create a new form
    2. Set up 3 records
    3. Export the form
    4. Import the form I have just exported
The data in the form become 6 records.

I need an advise what might go wrong.

    Thanks

Hmm… it’s supposed to perform an update on the records as long as the Record IDs are in the CSV file.

I’ll do some experimentation to see if something is broken with that or not.

    Sorry for the trouble.

I just tested it and it seems to work. Are you importing into the same form using the Import Records command on the records list view? Or are you importing directly from the Files area?

Importing from record list view did cause the double records.

If importing from file area, record count was correct, but record data did not be updated regarding to the data modified by Excel.

    Thanks
