I’ve noticed when entering a name if you enter it in error let’s say I intended “Paco” but entered “Pavo” and created the record any attempts to correct the entry to defaulted to “Pavo”.
My solution is to edit the record and enter “Pacox” followed by a deletion of the “x” to correct the faulty entry.
Did I miss something in the settings?
I believe this stuff is controlled by the operating system. The only thing I can do is turn off auto-correct on a field. But I haven’t enabled that function. So for now it attempts to auto-correct. But I think iOS is supposed to learn your spellings.
Thanks,
Brendan

On this topic – I had a similar concern. Worried that the auto-correct feature would result in lower data quality & more errors as words and names are mistakenly auto-corrected.
Auto-complete can be turned off for the apple device @ Settings -> General -> Keyboard Settings.
