Popover on Edit Pick List window

Can someone tell me what is the purpose of the popover on the attached file?

I’m not able to find how it works.

Hi Brendan,

I did that before, but it was not clear to me how to use the Multi-Value Popover option.
I’ve found now that each row works like a toggle.
We have to click the rows we need to check/uncheck them.
