I have just finished adding a lot of data via the Mac app in which there are a couple text fields that I have entered lists of data using either copy/paste or alt-return. This displays fine on Mac & iPhone, but on my iPad and iPad Mini the data is all shown inline. I can’t really see the data listed in those fields on the iPads as a result.
Attaching screen shots… See ‘Size’ and ‘Threads Used’ fields. ‘Thread Order’ is a note field.

The reason for that is because the iPhone version takes you to a different screen for editing. All the text will be in one line when editing the value on the iPhone.
But on the iPad, the edit field is displayed right there. It just doesn’t show you the field border until you tap on it.
For anything you want multiple lines of text in you should use a Note field. That’s what it’s designed for.
“Small font in the Notes field” …
This issue will always be a problem you will encounter all the time …
This should be urgently corrected. (BENTO text area codes was good).
I want a few words, or if you want you need to write a few paragraphs.
Mac and iOS, they should look the same. It must be defined as a text field.
