My iPad says it is sync’ing with my Mac. But, new records are not showing up on the iPad.
Using “nearby sync” (which has worked fine for years); 5.3.17 on Big Sur Mac, and latest TapForms/iOS on the iPad.
Mumble.
Then I observed that my (new) iPhone said it was all sync’ed up, but wasn’t showing the latest entries in the database in question. The weirder thing was that the record count was right for that db, it just didn’t have the entries.
I had quit and restarted the iOS app on the Mac more than once. Opened the log file on the iOS app — blank.
This time, I quit and restarted the Mac app. Happy happy joy joy. The iOS devices spent time sync’ing, and do actually display the right records.
I think the thing that still troubles me is the iOS apps claiming they had sync’ed.
I’m glad that it’s working for you now. Sometimes I’ve found if IP addresses changed on your devices, removing and re-adding the device can make Nearby Sync work again.
