Layout Inspector Panel not showing

    Hello,

    Im using version 3.0.3 (611) and something has happened. When I opened up TapForms this am the Layout Inspector panel was not showing and I cannot get it back. Clicking on the “Layout” or the “Form” buttons in the Toolbar does nothing, doesn’t even change the view at all. I also cannot delete a new/test layout I created.

    I have the database encrypted, not sure if that matters.

    Please advise..

    Hi Steve,

    This is unfortunately caused by the encrypted field in your form. I have fixed it for the next update.

    A workaround for now:

    If you encrypt the entire database by selecting Preferences from the Tap Forms menu, then clicking on Security, then clicking on Encrypt Database, then enter your encryption key when asked, then quit and re-launch Tap Forms, you’ll be able to edit all those forms that have an encrypted field within them. You can even just disable the encryption on the specific fields because you already have the full database file encrypted now.
