BrendanKeymasterHey Tap Forms community!
I’m making this significant announcement first to all my loyal Tap Forms customers.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been working on a brand new version of Tap Forms that I believe you’ll really enjoy. I’ve had about a dozen or so beta testers helping me ensure that I’m building it correctly and transforming Tap Forms into the best personal database app possible.
Currently, I’m seeking more individuals interested in beta testing the new version and providing valuable feedback to make sure I haven’t missed anything. I’m specifically looking for individuals who already have Tap Forms 5 installed on their macOS and iOS devices.
The new version, aptly named Tap Forms Pro, is shaping up to be an incredible piece of software, if I do say so myself.
Without giving away too much about what’s new, I’ll give you a brief list of some of the things you can expect to see:
* iCloud sync with different Apple IDs
* A brand new PDF reporting engine
* A built-in forms template library
* Tags
* Refreshed look and feel
* Many quality of life improvements
* … and much much more …Minimum System Requirements:
macOS 13.0 or newer
iOS 16.6 or newerYou also need to already have Tap Forms 5 for iOS and Mac so that you can migrate your database over to Tap Forms Pro.
Tap Forms Pro will run as a separate application from Tap Forms 5, so it won’t interfere with your existing database. You can continue to use both versions at the same time. There’s a simple migration process where you export your forms from Tap Forms 5 as an archive file (.tfarc), then import that into Tap Forms Pro.
If you’re interested in helping out, please email me at suppor@tapforms.com and I’ll set you up with an invitation to TestFlight where you’ll be able to install the new version.
There’s no cost to use the new version during the beta testing phase, even though you’ll need to complete a purchase process to gain full access to it. You won’t be charged while in beta.
When the app will be made publicly available on the App Store will depend on the feedback I receive from beta testers. At this point, it’s pretty much feature-complete, but considering the diverse databases that users may have, I want to ensure that I can handle a wider range of edge cases.
Thanks,
Brendan
