Import back table fields as csv (Mac)

Hi Brendan,

If I export records containing table fields as csv files, TF will export a csv for the main form, and sub csv files for each table field. How do I import these table csv files back into TF? Whatever I do, the newly created form from the main csv has all records but the table data.

Hi Guillaume,

Right now I don’t have a function to import the data into a Table field.

Can you use a Tap Forms Archive file for exporting and importing instead? That will contain all the Table field records too.

However, if you’re using the CSV file in another app before importing back into Tap Forms that won’t work.

the problem is that I’m having too many sync issues (file attachments showed but not actually in the database, different record counts on different devices, various other perks) and wanted to start anew. I thought that importing from csv files would be cleaner and wouldn’t carry along potential issues that the json archive would carry. Or would you advise to use the archive?
