ive searched but can’t quite find the answer to my question so I hope this isn’t a duplicate
Im trying to migrate from FileMaker to tapforms. In FileMaker I have three tables:
- stories
- characters
- story membership
Each story and each character has a unique id number and there’s a many to many relationship between the two which is manager by the story membership table – this table just has the unique id for the story and for the character to make the link
Ive seen that in tapforms That I can link stories and characters without the third table but I don’t want to have to go in and recreate all the links.
what’s the best way to set this up in two forms so everything links up again?

Hi David,
You will need to add a Link to Form field to your form and set the Link Type to Join. Then you can specify which field from the parent form matches the field from the child form. Tap Forms will then establish the links dynamically for you.
