Hi,
I’m new to Tap Forms and by no means experienced with databases. I just purchased and installed the macOS version and created my first database document. When I click + to create a form within that new document, there are no default form templates available on the left to pick from. They do appear when I open the Sample Forms document, and of course I can create a new form within that document, but I was thinking it would be possible to choose from the default form templates within my new document. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Barry
Hi Barry,
The default forms are just in that Sample Forms document that you’ve found.
What you can do though is use the Export Tap Forms template function to export them to a .tff file and then import them into your new document.
Thanks,
Brendan
Thanks Brendan. Knowing you have to import the template forms into a new document to use them is helpful. It was also helpful to find that I can download them all from here on the forums.
So far, I’m very impressed with Tap Forms…congratulations and keep up the great work!
Thanks!
FYI, I received a lot of requests to be able to delete easily all the sample forms, so with Tap Forms 5 because I added the ability to have completely separate databases, I chose to have the samples in a separate document instead of included in every new document. So when you create a new document, it’s completely empty and ready for you to populate with your own forms.
