I am expecting delivery of this new MacBook and wish to transfer my copy of Tap Forms [TF] from my ageing MacPro.
Hopefully I will be able to get it up and running on the MacBook before removing it from the Mac Pro?
Are there any likely problems during the above process?
I am thinking Rosetta 2 or other workarounds.
Currently I also run TF on iPad Pro and iPhone, and assume if TF on the iPhone remains functional that Apple Watch will also be OK?
Will TF become available as a Universal version and it would be useful to be aware of any implications for the mentioned devices.
Thanks for your time, best wishes, G
Hi Stan,
Yes, Tap Forms will use Rosetta 2 on an M1 Mac. I’ve tested it on the Apple DTK and I’ve had reports from customers that it’s working great on the M1.
So you should be good to go!
Tap Forms for Mac will eventually be universal for Intel and M1, but not universal for iOS and Mac.
Thanks,
Brendan
