I am using an iPhone 5s with iOS 9.3.3 and a Macbook Pro 13; under 10.11.6. The zip files produced on the iPhone for backups will not load under “restore” into the trial version of Tapforms on the mac, the need to be uncompressed and recompressed.
This seems to post date my connecting the iPhone to iCloud. BTW, the problem exists for backups moved to iCloud and via iTunes apps pane.

Hmm.. that’s odd. They should function properly between the two versions since they’re really just zip files. I’ll have to investigate that.
