Our file was backed up on a MacBook, and restored on a Mac desktop.
The restored file is missing several fields. Must those fields be manually created on the Mac desktop prior to running the Restore?
Made sure both computers had the same fields for the form. The one field that didn’t restore is a ‘Note’ field. The field is set to ‘Export’. Is there something that I am missing? Or does the field not truly backup, restore, or export?

Are you using the Backup & Restore functions or the Import / Export functions?
If you want to restore the full database from one device to another, then use the Backup & Restore functions, not the Import & Export functions. But even with the Import / Export functions, as long as all fields are marked for Export, it should not miss any fields.
