I have several fields that use numbers in a lookup lists. I have found that if I do a search for the number by typing it in using the keyboard I don’t get the same results than if I had chosen the numbers from the lookup lists.
What am I doing wrong?
Do you mean using the general search vs. the Saved Searches system?
If so, then the general search can find numbers that are anywhere in any of the fields. They can also find parts of filenames from Photo fields which can have randomly generated filenames, which may include some of the numbers you’re looking for.
With the Saved Search system you can target a specific field with your search rather than searching many fields at once.
Just cleaning up some of my old posts. This situation seems to have been user error.
