    Hello!

As Brendan suggested in one of my topics, I started creating Searches through Advanced Searches, so as to cluster some of my records into separate themes.

I then saw that the search (“Writers”) was being recorded under the Forms list, on the left (“Glossary”), which is very convenient.

However, as soon as I create a new search, it erases the previous one, which is not as convenient….

    Did I miss something? :)

NB: I have only one form and it is uncategorized.

Click the form before you make a new search.

When you have a search already selected, clicking the advanced search button edits the selected search.

    Hello again!

I have a new problem relating to this same topic.

When I create searches, some items in the Search rules are not taken into account, resulting in the search being empty or incomplete.

Example: I choose “text field Domaine contains Tsars”  and it does not find all the tsars. The way around was to add (царь) after the name of every tsar in the text field Entry. Oddly enough, other researches in the field domain, like Voitures (Cars), work perfectly. I wondered if the length of the word was the matter, but it seems a bit random.

    Would you have an explanation?

By the way, I can’t find my saved searches in the iOS version… Are they unavailable there?

I’m not sure what that царь is, so I’m not sure why you needed to add it. I’d have to see your data in order to figure out why Tap Forms wasn’t finding what you were searching for. It’s not a word length issue with the search. That doesn’t matter.

As for the iOS version, they are there. Just in a different place. Tap on your form to view the list of records, then tap on the filter button to view your Saved Searches list.

царь means tsar, all the entries are in cyrillic script. (The definitions are mostly in roman.)

Quite oddly, a simple search — or an advanced search restricted to Domaine — with Aliments et boissons (Food and drinks) doesn’t yield anything, a search with Aliments only either. Instead, boissons yields all the records related to food and drinks…
