In the desktop versions, the total number of records is listed at the bottom of the window. This is even when a specific search or named filter is applied.

Tap Forms 5 for iOS displays the number of records in a form next to the form name on the main forms list view, but then when you tap on a form, it shows the number of records at the top, just underneath the form title.
