On my iPhone, after opening a document, I have a list of the forms in that document.
Under the “Edit”,to the right of “+Add form” is a triangle that if touched makes the screen change, but the end result of that change is the same no matter what orientation the triangle is, pointing right or down.
What is that control supposed to do?
It’s the same as the My Forms / All Forms button on the Mac version. It toggles between forms that are are not hidden and not empty (My Forms) and all the forms you have in your document (All Forms).
Ah, those differences still don’t make sense to me. I have no forms that aren’t “My Forms”. All 59 forms are in the same container “My Forms”. I can’t see any reason to separate any from others by putting them in another container which is just more work to get to.
I guess if I was trying to keep work stuff different from life stuff I could see a reason to separate them. Still fuzzy here but with time I’ll find a reason for your organization.
Thanks for the answer.
It’s because some people have forms that have 0 records in them and they don’t want them to show up on the regular list of forms. They want a way to hide them. Also, you can explicitly hide a form from the main list, so you need a way to filter forms that shouldn’t show from forms that should.
If your use case doesn’t require that, then you can just ignore the toggle button. Sorry for the confusion.
