I’ve been happily using Tap Forms for years, have quite a bit of data in it. I’ve been using Tap Forms 5 up until recently, when it started crashing on open. I did some reading in these forums, sounds like some are having the same problem. After reading your reply to Tim Meyer’s post (reply #31698) I downloaded an update from

    https://vendors.paddle.com/download/product/503174

When I try to open that file (or download an update from the App Store) I get an error message stating that “the application requires OS X 10.12 or later”. I recently researched updating my OS and found that my machine is on the list of those not recommended for update to 10.12.

What do I do now? The version I have won’t open. Is there a previous version of TF5 that will work on OS X 10.11 for which the crash on open bug has been fixed. I would hate to think that I have to go back to Tap Forms 3.5 after working with 5 for so long.

    Hi Mark,

sorry for the crash. It was due to an expired certificate in the version of Tap Forms 5 that you have.

To run Tap Forms 5 on El Capitan again, you’ll need to download this version of Tap Forms 5.1.4:

    Thanks,

    Brendan
