Bug Fixes

Oh, and here's the new icon:
I wanted to freshen up the icon a bit and make it stand out in the App Store some more. So with the help of a designer from 99designs.com, I set out to create something new.
One thing I liked about the previous icon was the blue and white. I think the contrast makes it stand out quite nicely in the App Store. I tried about a hundred variations of the icon to see what worked and what didn't. I even tried getting rid of the X in the circle. But every time I did that, it didn't look like Tap Forms anymore. So I kept the X and the blue gradient, added the pencil to signify that you use the program to record information, and added the silver border and rings because I thought they looked cool.
I've heard that App Store approvals are going quicker these days, so I hope that Tap Forms 1.9 won't take too long to get to you.
Thanks to the kind individuals who tested, reported bugs, and translated Tap Forms into their native languages. Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Brendan
Just found you guys on the app store – am very excited, just what I’ve been looking for. Great price, too – I think I get get rid of a bunch of other apps now… AND none of those was doing what I wanted them to, anyway! Thanks for the great job!
Thanks Amy! I’m happy you found Tap Forms!
I will do my best to make Tap Forms worth your time and money.
Thanks,
Brendan
I love the new icon.. Cant wait for the 1.9 update..
Keep up the great work Brendan.. thanks
The icon is way better, which as silly as it sounds — great icon design is important to me. Good job!
Thanks! I love the new icon too.
Brendan
I wasn’t sure about the icon at first, thought the pencil made it a bit messy, but now I like it a lot! It does really stand out.
Oh – and I’m so glad to see the date picker has the option to revert back to the previous method; it makes it actually possible to do things like enter dates of birth without sitting there with your finger on the screen for 20 minutes for each record :)
I love this app so much, and recommend it to my friends a lot.
Great App. However, alphanumeric password protection is a must. Wonder why you don’t provide it yet.
Hi Jam,
Tap Forms does have alphanumeric password protection. It’s done when you enable encryption at the field level. When you encrypt a field and you try to access a form that has an encrypted field, Tap Forms will prompt you for an alphanumeric password.
I hope that meets with your expectations.
Thanks,
Brendan
请问一下, 我用的是试用版。现在想购买一个正式版。但我原来存在试用版里的数据是否会自动转到正式版中呢?期待您的答复。谢谢
Greetings!
Wondering if your application will work on the iPad and be updated to include standard “New Patient Consultation” form for Dentist and Family Dr. practices?
Regards,
Michael
