Version 1.8 Ready for Sale

Howdy Tap Forms users and everyone else!

Just got an email this evening from Apple letting me know that my 1.8 update has been approved and is now "Ready for Sale". You should see it on the App Store shortly.

Enjoy and spread the word!

Thanks,

Brendan

I bought TF by mistake: I tried to use it anyway.
Now it’s essential for my job. Really.
I rarely write on forums… but this time… just a thanks for your excellent work.

Thanks Alex. I’m happy that it’s working out great for you. Not sure if you’ve already done it or not, but a review on the app store would be very much appreciated. Good or bad.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

I tried TF Lite and loved it so much I bought the real deal…

…now, how do I get the forms and data from the Lite version to the real deal? =:)

    Thanks.

    Hello Jay,

There’s a couple of ways you can do this. One is by exporting your records as a CSV file in the Lite version and then FTPing them to your desktop Mac or PC and then launching the full version of Tap Forms and FTPing them back and then doing an import.

The other way would be to do a full backup using SyncDocs (see the Backup & Restore section in Tap Forms for help – tap the [?] button at the top-right for help). Then launch the full version of Tap Forms and do a restore there. It will overwrite your database, so make sure you haven’t created anything in the full version if you use this method. The CSV export & import method above won’t replace your database.

    Hope that helps!

    Brendan
