Tap Forms Database Lite hits the App Store

After a pretty short 7 days in review, Tap Forms Lite made it to the iTunes App Store today. Time for me to update the screenshots on the website I guess.

Tap Forms Lite is the exact same app as Tap Forms, except it's limited to just 15 records. You can use 1 record in 15 forms or 15 records in one form or anywhere in between. Once you try to add the 16th record, Tap Forms Lite will prompt you to upgrade to the full version.

Now unfortunately Apple has not yet approved my Tap Forms 1.8 update for the full version. Probably because I submitted that one day later than Tap Forms Lite. I hope it gets approved tomorrow because the lite version now has more features than the full version! Oh well, not for long I'm sure.

Anyway, since it's free, you can download it and try it out until Apple approves Tap Forms 1.8 and then you'll get the update for free if you had previously purchased any past version of Tap Forms.

Thanks!

Brendan

I have the full version. Really like it!

I tried swiping record to record…the 1 of 3, for example stays the same when going between
records. Enjoyed seeing the new updates.

Ya, that’s a small bug that got into 1.8. I’ve fixed that in 1.8.1. It only happens if there’s 3 or less records in a form. Once you get past 3 records, the count will change properly.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

Great. I appreciate your quick responses as well. Looking forward to your updates. I will highly recommend your product to friends. Good luck with the program…maybe you can quit your day job ;-)

Still no 1.8 full version in app store. Not your fault though!
I’m just getting mad with all these approval delays. Ten days to review a minor update of an already known application… :(

    Hello Athan,

Well, I wouldn’t call 1.8 a minor update. It took me a long time to create it. But it’s very odd that they would approve my lite version before my full version. You can certainly download the lite version if you want to play around with its features. There’s no difference between the lite version and the full version except for the 15 record limit.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
