Well, tomorrow I fly the quick 2 1/2 hour flight from Calgary to San Francisco for this year's Apple World Wide Developer's Conference.
This will be my 10th year I think. I'm pretty sure I first started going in 1998 when it was held in San Jose, California. Actually I think I missed one year in there, so it's probably only 9 years. Regardless, last year's WWDC was the best one I had attended in many years. I'm sure this one will be even better. The iPhone sessions were so awesome I could barely contain my excitement. Nearly every session I went to helped me on my way to starting the development of Tap Forms. I knew what I wanted to build back then and it seemed every session I attended helped me realize my vision.
This year's WWDC will be even better I think. There's so many great new technologies in iPhone OS 3.0 that Apple has announced already that I think I could spend another 2 years just implementing the new features of 3.0. I'm really looking forward to the Peer to Peer Connectivity technology that lets two or more iPhones communicate with eachother over an ad-hoc network. This will come in very handy when I implement form sharing in a future update.
Anyway, I'll be gone for the next week, but I'll do my best to answer any support requests that come in while I'm in San Francisco.
